little peter rabbit....

Shell at lilredrocket has the most gorgeous Little Peter Rabbit buttons, and I got to play with them over the weekend.
I pulled out some old photos of Addison from when he was born and he was in the crib for a couple of days, I was just so glad and relieved he was out safe and sound.
I have had that vintage book paper for a while now, an old book of Peter Rabbit and I had been itching to use it... it was the perfect opportunity.
This second layout I have also used for this months Scraptheboys, we had to use stamping on a page EEEKKKK!!! letter stamps are the best I could do. Nice and simple this time....
It's hard to see but I have used some sunshine yellow misting and splattering for a subtle effect.
Thankyou again for your lovely comments to my blog they are so greatly appreciated, I cherish each and everyone.

10 years....

David and I have been together for ten years, during that time we have had two wonderful boys, numerous OS holidays, two gorgeous homes and a wonderful marriage, it hasnt been easy as David has worked away from home for most of that time, I created this layout for Tracey's challenge over at Scrapawhile to celebrate our time together

This next layout is my last layout for the DT at stuck sketches, I decided not to reapply this time, I have enjoyed my six months on the team and have met some lovely gals on the DT who I will be keeping in contact with. This layout is based on the fact that when Larsen was born he looked exactly like David did when he was a baby. The sketch....

It's hard to tell but I printed my photos on to canvas paper.

I hope you can play along with these challenges this month, as always there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

scrap the boys...

How cool is it that the awesome scrap the boys challenge blog here is back in action. The first challenge called for some facts about one of my boys. I chose to do a milestone layout of Larsen when he was 6 months old...where has that time gone??I have used that cute little boy button that Shell has just released at lilredrocketbuttons.
The second layout is a little bit different for me, I was trying out the grunge style....and I seem to like it... I had fun....David of course in not to happy about having a layout about him on my blog, tee hee.

Both Layouts use the awesome JOY RIDE collection from Cosmo Cricket I got in my DT kit from handmadebysuzanne, some Basic Grey chip letters and Shimmers paint. Thanks to the lovely taryn for that vintage book paper too.

by default....

Larsen at aged 18 months is soooooooo obsessed with diggers...by default because Addison is too, and anything Addison is in to, Larsen is not far behind. He screams with glee when ever we see one and even tells me before we see them that they are coming up as he knows all the well known spots around NorthLakes. One of my hubby's favourite weekend pastimes is to take the boys to see the diggers, they love to climb all over them!
I have mounted and layered the digger chippie over the inked signpost chippie and used some old old old glittered chipboard stars from my stash, don't you love when you do that.
Short and sweet today.
